The Amphitheatre Gardens are also known as the Sunken Gardens showcasing intricate pathways, ponds , plants and pergolas. You can find this Gardens along the Durban beach front by Snell Parade.

  • Durban Botanic Gardens

Cost : FREE

The Durban Botanic Gardens is the perfect place to spend lazy days , relax and unwind under sub-tropical trees, palms and orchids. The Gardens are also host's of many afternoon concerts including Gold Fish and Micasa, to attend the concerts are however charged at R60.

You can find the Durban Botanic Gardens at 9A John Zikhali Road, Durban.

  • Ride a rickshaw

Cost : R20 for a short ride along the golden mile.

Enjoy a scenic drive along the golden mile in Durban beach front. Exciting and exhilarating , this three wheeled rickshaw is an experience beyond expectations. There are only 20 registered rickshaw drivers and you will never miss them because of their colourful outfits.
