6.GREECE
Greece remains a popular choice when it comes to adventure travel Europe. Hike to meet the monks in Meteora, stare at the aquamarine ocean from a guesthouse on Santorini, sailing Aegean Seas, surf or windsurfing the waves, skydive over Athens, hiking the mountains and valleys, scuba diving in fascinating underwaters, rafting along the Greek rivers or rock climbing in the mountains. Learn Greek, one of the world’s classic languages, to chat up the locals and explore Athens, one of the world’s oldest cities and the seat of Western civilization.
7.ICELAND
Iceland is very popular nowadays for European adventures. It’s got everything you’d ever want and more: bubbling earth, harsh mountain scapes, glacier hiking, ice climbing, snorkeling at Silfra, water rafting, canoeing, cave tours, whale watching and soaking in hot springs and geothermal pools.
