Winter in Europe is a wonderful time to visit if you are looking for Christmas that present and dreaming about the lovely smell of a snow covered Christmas tree or the lovely sound of Christmas carols…

11.MONTBELIARD, FRANCE

The town is well known for its hospitality, a few weeks before Christmas it turns into a magical town to visit. The tradition of Württemberg revices a Christmas market like no other with 160 lovely stalls full of authentic and high quality items. You can taste the delicious gastronomic products, marvel at the variety of art and crafts, dance to the music and the sound of choral songs… and for the 2018 edition, our guest of honour will be the Andalusia. More than a traditional Christmas market the town is paying attention to every detail to make sure the Christmas Lights offer all their wonders to all visitors.

12.POZNAN, POLAND

Taking you through a true winter land, a land full of ice, snowflakes and Christmas attractions, located on the Old Market Square and Plac Wolności (Freedom Square) of Poznań during this magical time. Starting on Plac Wolności on the 17th of November, then joined by The Old Market Square on the 1st of December and from the 8th to the 9th of December the International Ice Sculpture Festival will take place on Poznań Old Market Square. From all over the world contestants will turn massive blocks of ice into works of ice right before your eyes.

13.BUDAPEST, HUNGARY

The 7th annual Christmas Advent Feast at the Basilica, is an open-air festive-season market. It welcomes everyone with their delightful gift items, delicious Hungarian and international food, mouth-watering burgers and a range of fish dishes. Surrounded by a towering Christmas tree, everybody can have fun at the ice-skating ring. From November 27th until January 2nd visititors can discover this enchanted city-center Christmas celebration rich with Central European holiday traditions, which also features modern elements such as flash mobs, a wide range of the best Hungarian contemporary hand-craft products, and the monumental light show that with 3D glasses will give a new dimension to the façade of St. Stephen’s Basilica, which will serve as the screen several times every evening.

14.MADEIRA, PORTUGAL

The island celebrated the arrival of Christmas season with a traditional Christmas market, held in Avenida Arriaga central walkways. There is a variety of products on display, from exotic flowers and other traditional souvenirs, while experiencing and tasting some of the typical delicacies and drinks of this season. Take part in the glee of the season festivities, enjoy the daily activities and entertainment shows. At the Funchal Municipal Garden, you can admire the Christmas decorations, a venue that invites toddlers to discover hideaways, while playing and having fun in this Christmas setting.

15.INNSBRUCK, AUSTRIA

The romantic, dazzling Winter Wonderland Altstadt Christmas Market counts among the most beautiful and romantic locations in the entire Alpine region. The Maria-Theresien-Strae Market is lit up by glittering crystal trees and the Yuletide is a paradise for children presents itself at the Innsbruck Marktplatz Marke. Innsbruck opens its Christmas Market about four weeks before Christmas. Stall inviting you to stroll around and maybe buy a gift, have a drink of hot tea or the stronger "Glühwein" (hot spicy wine) or try some of the spicy or sweet Christmas food.
