Christmas in Africa is a time of outdoor fun, during this time tourist will observe the magnificent scenery whether it’s in a coastline near the ocean, a valley with the rivers or a big safari park with untouched wild nature. Tourists will have the opportunity of enjoying various unique African Christmas traditions - which include dishes, cultural displays, carnivals among a host of other activities, that differ from those in their home countries.

TOP PLACES TO VISIT

1.CALABAR, NIGERIA

As one of the best cities to experience a African Christmas, the city offers so many amazing activities to the local people and tourists during this season. The famous Calabar Carnival which is often regarded as Africa’s Biggest Street Party is a must to see on any tourists list – it offers lots of parties, street performances, concerts and competitions for young and older people. The carnival last until the 31st of December.

2.SEYCHELLES

For a relaxing holiday, the gorgeous island of the Republic of Seychelles is the place to be. With its warm weather tourists typically spend their time relaxing on the snow white beaches whilst trying to forget their home routines. With scenery so spectacular and wonderful – it’s no wonder it’s the first destination in Africa most families and couples choose to spend their vacation. The island offers many festive activities and concerts during the festive season.

3.CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

With its magnificent beaches surrounded by mountains, Cape Town is the best destination in South Africa to spend the Christmas holidays. 4.ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK, NAMIBIA

Interested spending Christmas surrounded by wildlife? Then the park is just the place to be. Visitors will have a rare opportunity to see hundreds of species of birds, reptiles, and mammals living in the wild.
